Kian Theodore Breech is a 16 going on 17 years old Hufflepuff half-blood from Kinsale, Ireland, where he lives with his parents and his cat, Dorian.
Kian’s a very good-hearted young man, he’d never intentionally hurt someone or miss out on the chance to help someone who comes to him with his problems. Additionally, he’s a very good listener and a rather mellow character, resulting in people coming to him for advice quite often and he’d do anything to help out when needed, even though his own needs and problems often get neglected that way. While Kian’s not necessarily shy, he is indeed rather introverted and prefers not to give too much away about himself and stay in the background and support everyone else.
One of his biggest strengths is his total loyalty: Once someone has won him over, Kian will be loyal to the bone at all times, standing up for his friends no matter what to come, supporting them whenever he can. Another one of his strengths is that he is fair and without prejudices, even if someone’s screwed him over before he’ll not be biased against him, but instead give him a second chance to prove his worth.
When it comes to magic, Kian has the talent of easily remembering spells and rarely has problems applying them, which was rewarded with an ‘O’ in Charms.
Some of Kian’s strengths prove to be his weaknesses as well, as people often try to take advantage of his fairness and helpfulness. Kian often doesn’t realise this at first, and is very insecure about himself. While he will confidently protect his friends, he most likely won’t confront someone who has been using him or talking bad about him.
Magically wise, Kian’s biggest problems are Divination and Astronomy, as he not only fails to read anything out of a cup of tea but also out of the stars, but also sees no need to nor does he even believe in telling the future. He’s also not doing too well with potions, more often than not he happens to mix some ingredients up and fail.
Kian is fears greatly being left behind and not being accepted. He’s always been insecure, which is the reason for his fear of being excluded and not be taken for what he is. In addition, he’s afraid of telling his true feelings and secrets more often than not, as people might think him ‘strange’ and turn their backs on him.
Kian gets along quite well with most Hufflepuffs & Ravenclaws, some Gryffindors - but he had a not that nice run-in with a Slytherin, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) tobias_kinsella who he's now harboured a certain dislike against.
Aquarians who are sorted into House Hufflepuff are introverted, but not shy; march to the beat of a different drummer, but don't wear their weirdness like a flag; socially minded, but highly critical of society. Confused? So are the Hufflepuff Aquarians, but they tend to sort things out eventually. Their minds lean toward the practical side of things - they'd rather invent new and useful spells or gadgets than dwell for hours in hot air theory - and the solutions they find to common problems are brilliantly on target. They like people and want to get along well with everybody, but are uncomfortable with intimacy; so they have lots of acquaintances but few close friends. They have the ability to laugh at most any situation.
